Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest
The Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest provides a variety of programs in theological education for persons preparing for ordained and lay ministries. The seminary offers the following degrees:
Master of Divinity (M.Div).--for persons preparing for ordained ministry
Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.)--for persons who desire a flexible program for the study of theology and religion
Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry (M.A.P.M.)--for persons who desire education in spiritual formation and discipleship
Master of Arts in Counseling (M.A.C.)--for persons prepating to enter the counseling field.
The seminary also offers a Certificates program in Christian education and youth ministry and a variety of continuing education opportunities.
The seminary has a cooperative relationship with the Lutheran Seminary Program in the Southwest (LSPS). The LSPS is housed on the seminary campus and some of the faculty of both institutions co-teach courses.
The seminary is accredited by the University Senate of The United Methodist Church.
